Zone Installation Manager (East Zone)

In this role, you have the opportunity to:

Position is responsible for managing the successful, high-quality installation of Philips imaging systems at customer sites within an assigned territory. Plan, direct and monitor projects from initiation through install completion to meet revenue targets and cost projections, manage cycle time, inventory, and customer satisfaction Position involves extensive interaction with all levels of management both internally and with customer and third-party mechanical installer organizations. Serve as a mediator to internal issues and conflicting priorities for teams focused on the delivery of products to clients. Organize interdepartmental activities to ensure on-time project delivery. Lead a team of Philips mechanical installers to ensure on time completion of all projects within assigned cost standards.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Analyze operational and financial performance and identify and influence improvements.
  • Work with Commercial Operations to ensure forecast revenue timing for assigned installations.
  • Work with local teams and Project Managers to ensure customer site readiness for installation of systems prior to delivery.
  • Use continuous business process improvement tools to identify and address any underperforming areas.
  • Keep key stakeholders informed of project status and issues.
  • Coordinate with Authorized Service Providers to support installations.
  • Effectively manage employee performance and develop talent.
  • Responsible for timely completion of FDA compliant Installation Paperwork.
  • Minimize overall project cycle time and maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with Business Unit and Philips teams to determine and ensure required resources are in place to complete the project within cost standards.
  • Monitor installation timeline, progress, and keep installations on track.
  • Ensure equipment is installed in accordance with government and Philips compliance standards.
  • Effectively recruit, onboard, and integrate new hires into team.
  • Lead a team of installers responsible for installing Philips imaging systems.

Job Knowledge, Skills, Education, and Experience Requirements

  • Excellent time management, analytical and listening skills.
  • Experience in Lean process improvement methodology preferred.
  • Demonstrated effective problem-solving skills, customer service, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to effectively identify, prioritize and manage complex business issues.
  • Ability to operate and lead in a matrix environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in effective relationship management and ability to instill confidence with internal and external key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to operate and lead in a matrix environment and coordinate with Business units in other countries.
  • Demonstrated track record of project management skills.
  • Able to understand site and equipment technical requirements (HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical, Environmental), to include reading of site-specific floor plans, drawings and specifications.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Ability to lead and adapt in uncertain or ambiguous environments and situations.
  • Minimum of 3 years of management experience, including leading a team, preferred.
  • Ability to lead remote team.
  • Experience with MS Office suite required, Salesforce, Service Max, and SAP preferred.
  • Experience in analyzing and managing cost and maximizing profitability.
  • Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phone.
  • Up to 25% of travel required within assigned zone and infrequently outside zone. Occasional overnight stays and travel by car, air, or train may be required.
  • Job operates remotely from home office location, with occasional travel to hospital/medical environment.
  • May be required to adhere to certification/credentialing required by the Customer in connection with admission into its facilities to perform job duties including, but not limited to, drug testing, vaccination and immunizations as dictated by the customer or facility policy.
