Youth Coach Coordinator Jobs

The New York Red Bulls are one of 29 teams in Major League Soccer (MLS). RBNY, one of the ten charter clubs of MLS, have competed in the league since its founding in 1996. The Red Bulls play home matches at Red Bull Arena (RBA) in Harrison, New Jersey. The three-time MLS Supporters' Shield Winners are owned by the Austrian beverage company Red Bull for which the team is named. The New York Red Bulls offer one of the nation's premier youth soccer development programs, from local soccer partnerships across New York and New Jersey to Regional Development Schools and the Red Bulls Academy teams.

The Youth Coach Coordinator will support the recruitment, education, and operations of the Red Bulls Youth coaching staff this includes balancing office and field-based coaching, administrative support, and education. You will be the primary education contact for Red Bulls Youth Coaching staff supporting Red Bulls standards of highest quality client service. You will help manage educational, operational, and logistical elements to ensure successful execution of all programming. This is a part-time position and available in New Jersey and New York locations.

  • Assist in educating and managing coaching staff to ensure that the organization is represented consistently within the local youth soccer market.
  • Help with managing the quality, accuracy, and delivery of training sessions. Provide feedback and assessments to coaches and assist with planning and delivery of education meetings.
  • Provide coach operational support, including orientation logistics, education events and uniform and equipment tracking and distribution.
  • Recruit part-time coaching staff and assist in all recruitment efforts.
  • Your weekly schedule will consist of approximately twenty (20) administration hours and nine (9) on field coaching hours during the winter, spring and fall seasons and an average of fifteen (15) coaching administration hours and fifteen (15) on field coaching hours during the summer season.

EXPERIENCE

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

that matter most for this role:

• Understanding of the season-to-season youth soccer market.
• One year's experience as a coach educator.
• Preferred minimum of USC A Advanced National or USSF C License.
