Job Description
Position Information

Position Title
Assistant Men's Soccer Coach

The Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach will assist the Head Coach with coordination of all phases of a competitive NJCAA Division I athletic program. Including but not limited to coaching, recruiting, budget management, travel management, rules and eligibility compliance, administrative duties, departmental fundraising, game management, academic advising, marketing, promotions and public relations. As part of Room and Board, the Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach will be required to live on campus in an assigned housing facility. The Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach will assist the Residence Life staff with conduct, issues and concerns of student-athletes living on-campus.

Required Qualifications
  • Ability to pass a background check, valid U.S Driver’s license, and a good driving record.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.

Preferred Qualifications

Physical Demands
Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time. Requires frequent bending, climbing, stooping or stretching. Use hands to operate a computer keyboard, telephone and other basic office equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear and use a phone, and some travel, including by vehicle, may be required. Working in indoor and outdoor athletic facilities will be expected. Ability to do facility set-up by climbing stairs, ladders, and moving moderately heavy equipment. Works in gymnasiums and indoors and outdoors at athletic facilities. Frequent contact with internal and external customers and students is required.
