Workday Support Group Data Specialist Description/Job Summary
- Monitor new and existing Workday integrations. Work cross-functionally with HRIT to create new or modify existing Integrations. Research, troubleshoot and escalate failed integrations.
- Oversight and maintenance of Workday security, organization and job tables.
- Serve as the liaison with our AMS partner (Alight) regarding case establishment and monitoring.
- Address questions regarding employee records, personal information, HR supported events and programs and directing to appropriate teams when required.
- Gather EIB business requirements, generate template, test and upload into production for mass data changes.
- Establish cases for questions which cannot be immediately addressed, perform research to resolve the inquiry, and communicate resolution to the user.
- Provide guidance to employees, managers, and other HR staff on how to use the Workday system and other HR technologies as the support group grows.
- Test and update new and existing releases of Workday and related HR systems. Stay on top of industry trends, Workday Community, features and capabilities.
- Assist CHRO and Director of HR Technology and Analytics with special projects.
- Support ad hoc report requests and identify opportunities to create and distribute new standard reports and dashboards.
- Develop sufficient subject matter expertise in key areas of Absence administration and Time-Keeping transactions and related processes to work independently in those areas.
- Provide telephone and/or email support to employees and managers using Workday who have questions or need assistance utilizing the self-service aspects of the system .
- Conduct weekly audit of transactions pending approval for Time & Absence. Follow-up with pending approvers to ensure transactions are processed in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and updated documentation and data in HR related systems (i.e. HRIS, Teams & SharePoint.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Prior technical experience with Workday is required.
- Strong administrative and data management skills
- 3-5 years previous administrative experience required along with previous relevant experience working in HR
- Strong oral, written and verbal communication skills; excellent follow up skills
- Ability to deliver exceptional customer service at all times; exercise courtesy and diplomacy with Firm personnel and representatives outside of the Firm
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, work independently, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines
- Highly dependable and demonstrated consistent, effective administrative and clerical performance for the accomplishment of responsibilities and defined objectives.
- Ability to use tact and discretion and maintain utmost confidentiality of personnel information
- Operates independently and receives assignments in terms of overall goals and objectives
- Proficiency with MS Office including Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint required
- Prior experience with balanceTRACK or other talent management and applicant tracking system preferred
- Prior experience with Ultipro, Workday, and ADP preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience within a corporate HR environment preferred
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience desired
