Wireless Telecom Engineers Jobs

JOB DESCRIPTION: Design, install, implement and integrate state-of-the-art wireless telecommunications systems, including GSM, TDMA, CDMA, UMTS, LTE, 5G or GPRS technologies and to update the systems to accommodate technological enhancements and upgrades. Install, test and resolve problems for modern cellular systems, both on the switch as well as remote sites. Provide technical support and training to customers as well as field personnel. Gather and record information for resolution of system software and hardware issues, and monitor customers’ systems for consistent quality performance. Successful candidates will conduct complex traffic tests, run diagnostics and audits to resolve network performance issues and ensure continuous functioning of all network elements. Develop tools and applications for enhancing the testing and integration process and performance monitoring of the wireless networks.

REQUIRED: A professional college engineering degree or equivalent; plus 2-5 years relevant wireless experience. College degree not required for pure installers. Manufacturer-sponsored technical certifications would be helpful.

EQUIPMENT COMPETENCIES: Ericsson, Nokia, Nortel, Lucent, Siemens or Alcatel.

JOBSITES: All over the United States , some in Asia , South America and Europe.

HOURS: Varied.
