DUTIES:

• Validate data flows from source(s) to target(s), including validating transformation rules or other business rules and test 81 reports, structure, and data.
• Responsible for the publication, implementation, and maintenance of software test plans and defect reporting to reduce production defects and promote the long-term stability and security of Fidelis Care New York's technology infrastructure.
• Position reports to Centene headquarters at 7700 Forsyth Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63105 and various unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S.
• Telecommuting permitted 100% of the time.
• Identify, analyze, and document problems with functionality, output files, or tables.
• Train new and less experienced QA analysts.
• Test ETL processes as part of data validation and quality assurance testing of healthcare projects.
• Analyze manual test cases and functional specifications to determine the best approach for the development of automated testing and reporting.
• Support testing of Digital Communication Platform projects and deliverables along with other report testing.
• Collaborate with IT peers, project stakeholders, and external vendors in requirements analysis and the development of effective test plans to minimize the progression of defects through all stages of the SDLC.
• Work with development and business analyst teams to assist in the documentation, reproduction, repair, testing, and verification of defects.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related, and 2 years of relevant work experience.
In addition, experience with the following skills is required: (1) Working in the healthcare industry in the Member, Provider, and Claims domains and using the health care system and process facets; (2) Writing code and verifying test cases against developer code utilizing relational databases including MS SQL Server, Oracle, and Greenplum; (3) Writing complex SQL scripts including complex select statements using multiple joins; (4) Developing and executing manual and automated test cases using SQL and ETL and reporting results summarizing defects and resolutions; and (5) Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information to include accurate data for project reporting as well as a weekly personal status reporting.

JOB SITE: 7700 Forsyth Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63105
WORK HOURS: Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week [8:00 am to 5:00 pm]
