Job Description
A custom development company, MentorMate is a design and software powerhouse with mature and established practices in Enterprise Web & Mobile Development, Technical Architecture, Human-Centered Design, Cloud & DevOps, Advanced Data Мanagement & Analytics.

We are looking to hire a Windows System Administrator to join our small but highly efficient Continuation Engineering team. As an engineer in Continuation Engineering, you will work in a customer-facing team to solve incidents and troubleshoot problems as well as to take care of the servers and the cloud infrastructure of our customers.

Job description

  • Provide technology consulting to clients and development teams
  • Work with AWS, Azure, and Hyper-V (and other Virtualisation Platforms)
  • Operate with cloud environments such as Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure
  • Solve mission-critical problems
  • Troubleshooting incidents in a timely manner
  • Implement and enforce security policies for clients and internal systems
  • Configuration and administration of MS SQL, MS IIS, and Active Directory Environments
  • Configuration and administration of AWS and Azure infrastructure

Required skills

  • Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Demonstrated basic knowledge in the following areas: IP, TCP/UDP, DHCP, DNS, Routing, and VPN Protocols
  • Strong experience with Azure Cloud
  • Proactive person with a team attitude
  • Problem diagnosis and problem-solving skills in a complex environment
  • Strong experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and monitoring Microsoft Server Roles like IIS, Hyper-V, DNS, Active Directory, etc.
