Job Description

**OFFERING UP TO $350K TOTAL COMPENSATION**


A multi-strategy hedge fund based in New York is looking for an experienced Windows Engineer to support and build out their Windows environment - while automating systems where possible.


Responsibilities:

  • Maintain documentation
  • Provide support for virtualized Windows and Linux environments
  • Assist in the architecture and administration of Active Directory, Exchange, and connected infrastructures
  • Support on-premise and cloud-based infrastructures
  • Deploy automation solutions for manual processes and procedures
  • Monitor system performance and availability
  • Collaborate with business leads, engineering, and development teams to determine innovative solutions that drive efficiency within infrastructure operations


Requirements:

  • Experience with migrating to Office 365
  • Strong PowerShell skills
  • Experience working on Varonis, Okta, Mobile Security, Splunk
  • Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP), security, and optimization
  • Experience working on, Docker, Terraform, and Serverless
  • Knowledge of AWS systems
  • Experience working on modern file systems: SharePoint, OneDrive, Azure File Systems, S3 etc
  • Experience working on Azure and Office 365
  • Experience working on SCCM or Puppet
  • Experience working on core MS Stack (AD, GPO, DFS, and Exchange)
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware 6.5 and up, Citrix)
  • Experience administrating Citrix
  • Experience with Linux administration
  • Strong knowledge of MDM solutions, Mobile Iron, Intune, AirWatch etc
  • Experience working on Nutanix/AHV
