Looking for a challenging role as a Windows Systems Engineer? Our client needs you to maintain and optimise their critical Windows infrastructure, from AD to complex desktop environments. Collaborate with a global team to automate and standardise processes, while contributing to platform development with various programming languages.

Role Responsibilities:

• Get exposure to multiple segments of the business and work with trading desks and international offices on a daily basis
• Maintain and optimise the critical Windows infrastructure, including Active Directory and DNS, as well as complex desktop environments
• Plan and execute deployments, and contribute to the development and maintenance of the trading environment using various platforms and programming languages
• Collaborate with local and global teams to find issues and propose improvements, while communicating effectively with all stakeholders
• Improve, automate, and standardise processes to ensure continuity of business operations

Technical Experience/Qualifications Required:

• Experience with hardware monitoring and performance tuning
• Advanced working knowledge of Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and Group Policy
• Clear and concise communication skills to provide a high degree of customer service for all support queries
• 7+ years of experience and in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows/Server
• Capacity to document problem resolution using an online knowledge base
• Capability to troubleshoot, analyse, and solve technical issues in a fast-paced environment
• Expertise in troubleshooting workstation operating systems, applications, peripherals, network, and audio-visual issues
• Ability to create and maintain PowerShell scripts
