Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior II Engineer - Windows & VMware.
In this role, the successful candidate will be a seasoned professional providing advanced expertise in a complex professional discipline. Provides and maintains a reliable technical infrastructure to effectively serve the customer community. This may include running, maintaining, and troubleshooting systems, servers, networks, and/or desktop environments; responding promptly and effectively to customer problems and either directly resolving the problems or escalating to the appropriate resource and monitoring its effective resolution. Works independently with limited work direction. Work is reviewed periodically and on an exception basis.

Job Responsibilities:

• Development of tools to fill gaps in available software solutions
• Prepare, update and support the Microsoft OS base image for use within the NYULMC environment on FAT clients and VDI
• Attendance and additional performance standards
• Application packaging as requested by the three business units of the medical center
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Serve as level 3 support for the standard Windows build, fielding questions from local MCIT service desks
• Monitors assigned queues in Front Range ITSM, taking ownership of incidents as appropriate
• Support and Engineering of new solutions for the WYSE thin client environment

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Typically requires 7 or more years of experience and BA/BS degree.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $88,524.96 - $117,621.96 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
