Job Description
Summary

Clallam County is seeking candidates for WIC Support Specialist I to provide direct WIC services to applicants and clients and provide support for the WIC Program. The WIC Support Specialist I will participate in program activities, outreach efforts, and provide support to the WIC Support Specialist II. The WIC Support Specialist I is responsible for providing clerk/certifying support, resources, education and program information, advocacy and services to individuals and families in Clallam County. This is a part-time position with benefits.

Education/Training

  • Proficiency in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Strong time management skills are required.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Customer Service: Strong customer service skills are important for interacting with WIC participants.

Experience

  • One year of experience providing direct services to individuals and families; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience determined by the Director.
