Job Description
Intake Specialist

First point of contact for Care to Care (Stanson) network providers, physicians, and members. Serve as liaison between Care to Care (Stanson) provider networks, physicians, and Health Plans. Ensure that both internal and external customers receive a level of service that exceeds their expectations.
The intake Specialist will utilize two methods of communication (inbound and outbound calls) and written correspondence. Respond to and resolve questions and problems from network providers, imaging centers and facilities, members, and referring physicians. The intake Specialist also receives inbound calls on the follow-up to existing authorization requests either in process or processed.
*We are currently hiring for the 11:30 am - 8 pm EST shift*

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • One year experience as an Intake Specialist or equivalent position in a multi-function Contact Center setting
  • Experience with computer operation, automated database, and standard PC business software, including electronic mail, intranet, and industry-standard applications.
  • Data entry experience, with multiple screens, is a plus.
  • One year of experience in a medical setting is preferred.
