Wellness Specialist Jobs

DMBA is hiring a Wellness Specialist in the Product Development Department. The role of the wellness specialist is to guide associates and DMBA plan participants in achieving their wellbeing goals by developing programs and activities that meet the needs and interests of our customers while aligning with our Company mission and values. Job Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and facilitation of our existing internal employee wellness program Collaborate with Human Resources to coordinate, plan, and implement wellbeing activities and events Provide educational presentations and trainings Provide one-on-one wellness coaching opportunities for DMBA associates Develop and manage wellness content and communications Assist in developing and managing budget, policies, and procedures relevant to the wellness program Collect and analyze data for reporting, evaluation, and development Assist in the evaluation and development of DMBA wellness benefit offered to plan participants Training, Skills, Knowledge, and Experience: A bachelor's degree in a health-related field, e.g., Health, Exercise Science, Wellness, Health Education, Public Health, Health Promotion, Nutrition, Psychology, Kinesiology Effective and positive written and verbal communication skills, including presenting, training, and public speaking Ability to connect and collaborate well with others, possessing strong interpersonal skills Detailed oriented and organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at one time Proficient in data analysis, including accurate interpretation of results and the ability to use results to inform program development Ability to think creatively ensuring programs are engaging, effective, and tailored to the unique needs of DMBA Knowledge and understanding of lifestyle behavior principles, including nutrition and healthy eating, fitness and exercise, and stress management Knowledge and understanding of the regulations and compliance requirements associated with wellness programs (HIPAA, ACA, ADA) Ability to listen well, considering and implementing feedback Motivate and inspire those you work with Have a passion for health and wellness and a commitment to continuous learning, keeping up to date with research and industry trends Preferred: Experience in Wellness program design, development, and management What We Offer: Competitive pay Rich medical, vision and dental benefits with low premiums (we are the #1 health plan in Utah!)
