Official Title: Wellness Designer

Position Type: Contract for 90-days, full-time employee thereafter

Compensation: $90,000 – $105,000 annually

Benefits: Comprehensive benefits plan, 401K and hybrid work arrangement

Payment Schedule: Bi-weekly

Overview:

Working alongside the company’s senior leadership, you will assist both graphic and architectural design efforts in relation to client services, internal marketing and business development.

During the initial phase of employment, the chief objective is to become fully versed in all aspects of the business, both client-facing and internal functions. Throughout this period, you will gradually assume project management responsibilities pertaining to the design process, ensuring proactive service and seamless communication between internal project and client teams.

As the company continues to evolve and expand upon its core capabilities, you will be instrumental in helping us to establish the internal processes that will improve our efficiency, while helping us collectively establish the organizational foundation to grow the business effectively while staying true to our core principles and underlying values.

In addition to the technical qualifications, this position requires prior design experience within luxury hospitality and/or spa & wellness environments. As part of a leading-edge spa and wellness development firm it is imperative to be knowledgeable about all facets of a rapidly evolving industry: in terms of planning & design, soft programming and service offerings and operational considerations.

Software Requirements:

• Working in CAD
• Ability to sketch and develop design ideas graphically (Diagramming by hand or digitally)
• Proficiency in Bluebeam for marking up drawing
• Ability to discuss and communicate ideas verbally and graphically
• Proficiency in Adobe Create Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook

Responsibilities:

• Aesthetic eye for developing design concepts and presentation decks
• Developing concept and design narrative for presentation decks
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
• Interfacing with the company’s graphic design resources
• Fast learner who can adapt to a variety of project requirements
• Pulling images and generating ideas for concepts
• Ability to effectively manage time and meet deadlines

Client Services

• Collaborate with senior leadership and appointed project teams on existing and new projects
• Continue to become fully familiarized with general process and deliverables
• Participate in client presentations and meetings
• Perform directed tasks in association with project deliverables

Marketing and Business Development

• Provide content for TLEE Spas future website and social media channels
• Develop new marketing and promotional materials

Research & Innovation

• Stay abreast of new wellness concepts as they come to market
• Develop knowledge surrounding hydrothermal facilities, new technology and evolving wellness trends
• Become well-versed in benchmark wellness properties: hospitality, residential/mixed-use and stand-alone

Required Experience:

• 4+ Years of professional experience
• A professional degree in Architecture (BArch/March)
• Architectural license (preferred) or is currently eligible to take the Architectural Registration Exam
