About Our Internship Program

As a thredUP summer intern, you will be given a firsthand glimpse at what it’s like to work at the world’s largest fashion resale platform. You will tackle projects alongside our world-class team, with the opportunity to make a real impact on thredUP’s business.

About The Internship

Are you ready to make your mark in the world of sustainable fashion? We're looking for an individual who is curious, detail-oriented and excited about owning the content production and publication of the thredUP website and mobile app. You will report into the Creative Strategist and sit on the Integrated Marketing team, the hub of the marketing wheel, which sits at the junction of brand, growth and retention marketing functions. You will work closely with the creative, marketing, product and engineering teams to get all campaigns, promotions, and general updates executed and pushed live to thredUP customers. From publishing new content, to setting up promotional A/B tests, you will be ensuring that every pixel on the site and app experience reflects our mission and allows our customers to have a smooth and fun thrifting experience.

In this role you’ll get to:

• Ensuring that all content on the website is accurate, up-to-date and meets the organization's standards and guidelines
• Managing multiple campaigns while coordinating with marketing, design, and product to ensure that all content is published on time and to the correct audience
• Managing the website’s editorial and promotional calendar
• Setting up all promotional and content tests in Split.io and push them live to the site
• Creating promotions in our internal promo tool, publishing them to the site, and aiding in testing the promotion experience.
• Creating and updating the site content using our content management system (CMS).

What we’re looking for:

• Outstanding interpersonal skills
• Experience setting up and executing A/B tests, using programs like Split.io
• Pursuit of Bachelor’s degree in web development, marketing or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Previous internship or website production experience, a plus!
• Strong attention to detail, project management and organizational skills

This is an hourly role and pays $20 per hour.

This internship will run until the end of the 2023 calendar year.
