What You Will Learn:
Responsible for ensuring customer orders are properly fulfilled regarding quantity, quality and time. Ensure compliance with Safety, Housekeeping, & Environmental (SHE) standards, as well as with L’Oréal policies and procedures within operations.
- Ensure productivity standards are met.
- Manage flow of goods in the following areas: shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment and line operations.
- Identify and communicate recommendations to improve operations and safety.
- Establish and maintain business relationships with outside vendors and trucking companies.
- Supervise the operations of staff to achieve objectives.
- Manage a team of non-exempt employees.
- Manage team performance and support employee development and training.
- Allocate temp labor staffing as needed.
- Participate in cross functional initiatives within scope of responsibility.
What We Are Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
- Analytical and quantitative skills.
- General knowledge of material handling equipment.
- Personal computer skills, to include experience with spreadsheets, presentations, and database management.
- SAP experience.
- Team management skills.
- Intermediate and/or advanced level of Excel.
- Leadership skills.
- Productivity reporting.
- Material handling equipment.
- 5+ years of warehouse management experience preferably in the consumer goods industry.
