Warehouse Manager Jobs

The BloomNet/Napco team is hiring a Warehouse Manager to oversee the operations of our Jacksonville warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Document corrective actions taken and communicate results with business partners.
• Help identify inventory control gaps and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Audit assembly and shipping picks.
• Check timecard punches regularly for associates and make adjustments/corrections as needed.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Train, coach, and develop the warehouse team in picking, replenishment functions. Meets warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying warehouse system improvements.
• Organize and maintain staging locations for goods that are being pulled for production.
• Confer and coordinate activities with other departments.
• Perform annual/regular trainings and document as required.
• Respond to business partner requests for assistance by physically checking on-hand inventory.
• Communicate issues affecting inventory with team and business partners.
• Comply with and support the health, safety, and environmental programs, policies and procedures.
• Assist the manager of warehouse in planning and executing the semi-annual physical inventory.

Requirements

• Strong people skills
• Previous forklift experience
• Ability to read, write and speak English effectively
• 5-7 years' previous supervisory-related experience in a leadership role in a shipping, assembly or warehouse environment
• Knowledge of SAP/Oracle preferred
• Associates Degree or greater preferred.
• Basic mathematical skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Communication skills to flow up, down and across the organization
• Problem solving / root cause analysis
