Warehouse Manager Jobs

House of Floors of Sarasota, Inc. is seeking an effective and reliable Warehouse Manager to oversee the general operation of the Fort Myers location. This position will ensure smooth operation of the warehouse – including monitoring inventory levels, re-ordering products, receiving shipments, maintaining a clean and organized warehouse, managing subcontractors, dispatching crews, and managing daily warehouse operations.

House of Floors is Florida's premier floor covering provider. We have been servicing the Multi-Family Housing Industry since 1989 and have the highest degree of quality and customer service. We have over 350 certified installation crews statewide and are looking to expand.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, orient, coach and motivate licensed subcontractors
• Manage receiving, distribution, dispatching, and maintenance operations
• Enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
• Maintain a clutter free environment
• Organize daily paperwork
• Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies
• Manage subcontractor’s schedules

Requirements

• Must live within a reasonable distance of job location and have a reliable form of transportation
• Strong decision making and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills (Bilingual preferred)
• Must be willing to preform various warehouse duties as needed
• Must be able to drive a forklift
• Experience as a Warehouse Manager is preferred
• Leadership skills and ability manage staff
• Must be able to lift up to 75lbs unassisted
