Warehouse Manager I Jobs

Sub-Zero Group, Inc, a manufacturer and distributor of high-end luxury appliances is looking to hire an experienced Regional Warehouse Manager for our distribution center in our new facility located out of Jacksonville, FL. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing the warehouse staff and overseeing the operations of shipping and receiving.

• Arranging for prompt shipment of orders
• Planning manpower to assure coverage for absences or special needs
• Various other duties as required
• Maintaining orderly arrangement of product to facilitate receiving, stocking, shipping and pickup of merchandise
• Providing and/or coordinating a preventative maintenance program for fork lifts, dock doors, dock plates and other equipment and components of the facility
• Managing and supervising the warehouse staff members
• Operating within budget parameters and identifying opportunities for savings
• Preparing receiving and shipping documentation (e.g., bills of lading, receiving reports, etc.) as necessary to document product flow
• Arranging for timely receipt of product and coordination with inventory control to update availability
• Maintaining physical and system controls to safeguard inventory and assets
• Maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse and warehouse office

Experience

• Computer literate- working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; AS400 or a Warehouse Management System experience
• 10+ years of warehouse supervision or related field in addition to 5+ years of experience working in a warehouse management role (mid-sized team)
• High energy, team-oriented, quality minded, dependable and safety driven
• Forklift operation experience required; certification preferred; experience with Basiloid preferred
• Strong ability to communicate effectively (written or verbal), with excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills

Education

• Bachelors or better
