Position entails the alteration or assembly of manufactured products to customer specification by utilizing shop equipment and/or tools. Maintain and operate shop equipment and tools, performing quality work.
Essential Responsibilities And Duties

• Knowledge of blueprint reading to plan and organize work in most efficient and cost effective way.
• Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers and assigns duties to meet production schedules.
• Ensure quality standards are being carried out, maintained, and improved.
• Working on assigned project individually or with another associate.
• Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems.

Requirements

• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as area, circumference, and volume.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Clean drivers license
• Ability to work quickly while doing your job safely.
• Ability to calculate bill of material and cut lists from prints.
• Basic knowledge of carpentry tools such as power saws, routers, drills, and hand tools.
• Ability to travel throughout New York and New England for field installation if necessary.
