W2 Only Business Analyst

In this position, you will act as a bridge between business problems and technology solutions. You will

work as a liaison between the business units and IT Client Success department team by identifying

customer needs and translating those needs into workable solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, Business Ops and Account Management teams.

2. Develop functional requirements for new and existing system, data loads, jobs, and processes.

3. Translate information requests from internal customers involving ambiguity into actionable tasks for developers.

4. Gather and document business requirements, system flows, data flow, data dependencies and functional requirements.

5. Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, solution analysis, and project kickoffs

6. Manage inbound request queue, prioritize requests, and communicate with stakeholders.

7. Conduct quantitative analysis by creating ad-hoc reports/queries using SQL.

8. Support IT team governance, audit, and control process

9. Manage and govern data documentation of solution, requirements, credentials, and processes.

10. Demonstrate technical leadership and exerts influence outside of immediate team.

11. Integrate technical expertise and business understanding to create superior solutions for clients.

12. Special projects as requested

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in IT preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.

2. Has 3 - 5 years of proven working experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst.

3. Experience working with Agile Project Management tools (JIRA, Rally, VersionOne, etc.).

4. Technical expertise regarding requirements gathering, process engineering, technical documentation.

5. Demonstrate strong organization skills and detail oriented.

6. Experience in Healthcare Industry is preferred.

7. Ability to self-motivate and meet deadlines.

8. Intense desire to learn.

9. Ability to maintain confidentiality.

10. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

11. Has prior operational experience.

12. Has basic/intermediate SQL skills

13. Strong communicator.

14. Has agile experience.
