Job Description

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced VP-Relationship Manager to join our Institutional & Corporate Banking division. As a VP-Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships in Latin America and Central America in accordance with the division's Annual Sales plan.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Visit assigned clients as per BSA policies and procedures, producing timely, accurate, and thorough call reports to maintain up-to-date client KYC/EDD records.
  • Develop and manage relationships with clients in Latin America and Central America, aligning with the division's Annual Sales plan.
  • Follow a risk-based approach to BSA Compliance within the division, ensuring compliance with Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations, high-risk classification, and account monitoring.
  • Perform daily servicing of existing accounts, including cross-selling our bank's products and identifying upsell opportunities.
  • Coordinate the purchase of assets in the secondary market from other financial institutions to expand our portfolio.
  • Take ownership of achieving financial and other goals of the division as determined by individual objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Credit Department to gather all necessary financial documentation from clients, preparing comprehensive credit approval memorandums for presentation to Risk Committees.


Requirements:

  • Proven track record in developing and managing relationships in Latin America and Central America.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in relationship management within the banking industry, focusing on Institutional & Corporate Banking.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal) is required.
  • Strong knowledge of BSA Compliance, including Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations and risk-based approach.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
