Our client is a digital infrastructure solutions company that helps businesses across industries in optimizing their digital infrastructure to achieve their business goals. Their solutions are tailored to meet the specific needs of each client and include cloud computing, data center services, managed services, and more. They are looking to hire a VP of Service Delivery to oversee the delivery of their digital infrastructure solutions to their clients.

The VP of Service Delivery will be responsible for managing a team of delivery managers, project managers, and technical staff to ensure the successful completion of projects on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of their clients. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker who is able to balance the needs of clients with the capabilities and resources of the company.

Focus:

• Compile and regularly report on project milestones (e.g., finances, schedule, resources, etc.), making adjustments and communicating changes as necessary.
• Develop and implement processes and procedures to streamline service/solution delivery and improve efficiency.
• Perform root cause analysis to determine and resolve any barriers to project completion.
• Collaborate with other departments, including sales, marketing, and engineering, to ensure that the company's capabilities are aligned with business goals.
• Oversee the delivery of digital infrastructure solutions to clients, including cloud computing, data center services, managed services, and more.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, key clients, and partners.
• Manage a team of delivery managers, project managers, and technical staff to ensure projects are delivered on-time, within budget, and adhere to all safety and quality standards.

Skill Set:

• Proficient in MS Office Suite, MS Project, AutoCAD, and other similar computer applications.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to successfully manage a team.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in in Accounting, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Demonstrated customer service, project management, delegation, and problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Proven track record in managing and delivering large-scale digital infrastructure projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients.
• Strong background with data centers, as well as electrical and mechanical skills.
• 8+ years of experience directing data center project management activities.
