Position Summary
- Reviews and approves cost-control reports, cost estimates, and staffing requirements for projects.
- Establishes, communicates, and implements operations-related policies, practices, standards, and security measures to ensure effective and consistent support and execution.
- Presents periodic performance reports and metrics to the chief executive officer and other leadership.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in operations management.
- Establishes, implements, and communicates the strategic direction of the organization's operations division.
- Ensures that departmental decisions and project plans such as those for staffing, development, organization, material efficiency, hardware acquisitions, and facilities are in line with the organization's business plan and vision.
- Collaborates with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on operations projects and systems.
- Establishes and administers the department's budget.
- Identifies training needs and ensures proper training is developed and provided.
- Collaborates with other stakeholders and departments to carry out the organization's goals and objectives.
- Identifies, recommends, and implements new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materials.
- Ability to travel frequently to client sites to provide support, consultative services, and co-develop new strategic initiatives.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Four-year degree in business-related field or equivalent work experience is required.
- High School graduate or equivalent is required.
- Self-directed, able to take initiative.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills with an ability to work closely with credit union senior management, third party vendors, and principals of potential Xtend business partners.
- Experience developing and implementing long-term sales and marketing strategies.
- Experience in working effectively with technical personnel.
- Proven experience and skill in leading and developing people.
- Ability to use discretion when dealing with sensitive or confidential data.
- Extensive knowledge of credit union operations, regulations and procedures.
- Extensive experience in selling and marketing data processing and software products to the credit union/banking industry.
