: Vice President of Sales

Position Overview: We are seeking a seasoned Vice President of Sales with a proven track record of scaling a sales organization from Series B to Series C funding stages or greater. This individual will play a pivotal role in defining our sales strategy, building and leading a high-performing sales team, and ensuring that revenue targets are not only met but consistently exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy and Vision: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company's growth objectives and vision.
  2. Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team.
  3. Revenue Growth: Drive aggressive revenue growth and hit or exceed sales targets.
  4. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with other executive team members to align sales strategies with the company's goals and objectives.
  5. Market Analysis: Continuously monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  6. Sales Process & Infrastructure: Implement and optimize sales methodologies and tools. Ensure the use of best practices and continuous process improvement.
  7. Reporting & Forecasting: Provide regular sales forecasts and performance updates to the executive team.

Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of 5 years of sales experience with at least 3 years at the VP level.
  2. Proven experience in guiding a company from Series B to Series C funding stages or greater.
  3. Prior experience in the technology industry, with a preference for candidates who've worked in fast-growing environments.
  4. Demonstrable history of consistently achieving and surpassing sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  5. Strong leadership skills with a knack for developing and mentoring teams.
  6. Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  7. Proficient with sales technology tools and platforms, including CRM systems.
