The Role:


ZenBusiness is seeking a VP of Product Management - Head of Customer Retention & Engagement to lead the development and implementation of strategies for customer retention and the customer lifecycle. This role requires someone to keep customers engaged and loyal by creating programs and initiatives that focus on retention and lifetime value.


This position will report to our CPO and is a remote role.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and manage customer loyalty programs that incentivize and reward customers for their engagement and loyalty.
  • Continually optimize retention and customer lifecycle programs and initiatives through ongoing testing, analysis, and iteration.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to ensure that customer retention and customer lifecycle considerations are incorporated into product development and enhancements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to retention and customer lifecycle management.
  • Measure and analyze retention and customer lifecycle metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and track the success of retention and customer lifecycle programs.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product, Data, and Operations, to identify key retention and customer lifecycle opportunities and develop effective solutions.
  • Develop and execute retention and customer lifecycle strategies that maximize customer engagement, loyalty, and lifetime value.
  • Conduct customer research and analysis to gain insights into customer behavior, preferences, and needs at various stages of the customer lifecycle].
  • Develop and manage retention and customer lifecycle campaigns, including email, push notifications, in-app messaging, and other channels.


Qualifications:


  • Experience developing and managing retention campaigns in a multi-product environment. An ideal candidate would come armed with a “retention playbook”.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using data to inform decision-making.
  • Track record of impactful product management leadership with an emphasis on retention and delivering engaging customer experiences.
  • Familiarity with customer loyalty programs and strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills, with proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present to senior stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies and best practices related to retention and customer lifecycle management.
  • 15+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on retention.
