VP, Human Resources (Chief of Staff)

People Management directs the activities and results of Human Resources teams. We ensure Vonage’s HR practices place the company in a competitive position and contribute to individual, team and organizational success. The Vice President, Human Resources, will work closely with the Chief People Officer to design, plan & implement the organizational People Strategy

What You Will Do


HR Leadership


  • Support the CPO to design, plan & deliver the People strategy
  • Own the HR Business Management System ( BMS)
  • Drive innovation and whole systems thinking.
  • Collaborate with finance, tax, legal and other HR departments as appropriate to ensure effective oversight and management of functional / service area processes.
  • Direct, motivate and develop HR staff to collaborate, design and implement the People strategy & best practice programs vital to the organization’s success and growth.
  • Serve as a member of the HR leadership team, overseeing development of DEI, Employee Experience, Future of work & Talent Strategies.


Function / Service Area Oversight


  • Leverage functional expertise to advise and consult with HR leadership and business partners on best practices, competitive threats, challenges and recommended changes going forward.
  • Drive cross-functionally behavior within HR to ensure assigned functions and processes align with and fully support departmental strategies and objectives.
  • Monitor functional / service area performance against established benchmarks and KPIs, identifying and addressing emerging and anticipated issues.
  • Forge strong working relationships with key industry, consulting, professional and other third-parties as required to deliver benchmarking, process and related services.
  • Engage with internal and external experts as required to develop, maintain and optimize functional systems and processes.
  • Monitor the competitive environment for technical, process and other changes to ensure internal systems and capabilities remain state-of-the-art
  • Own strategies, plans and performance outcomes for assigned area(s).

  • Knowledge and experience of Global HR regulations
  • Experience managing diverse activities in multiple locations.
  • Comprehensive, in-depth knowledge of the various HR disciplines (payroll, compensation, benefits, recruiting, organization effectiveness, etc.).


Required


What is required for application


  • Prior HR leadership experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, business or related discipline.


Preferred


  • HR certification.
  • Master’s Degree.
