Summary/Objective:
The VP of Growth Marketing will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing and sales enablement programs that are fully aligned with the overall business growth goals and deliverables in Elevations CU’s annual strategic plan. These programs will include target market segmentation, new member persona criteria, brand positioning, market research, and digital marketing (systems of engagement & systems of record) that increase revenues, margins and profits.
This individual is responsible for the direct management, supervision, and execution of all marketing strategies, business growth programs, specific product and service campaigns, and digital marketing initiatives that advance our brand and competitive position. Success requires this leader to be strategic, while also effectively deploying marketing strategies, in addition to being highly collaborative, and the ability to build and sustain constructive partnerships with colleagues. This leader must be inspirational, proactive, growth minded and able to help Elevations’ achieve its strategic goals. The portfolio includes consumer and business products, multi-cultural segments, and digital, branch and contact center channels. The successful candidate will work cohesively and closely with other departments to align, execute and deliver results.
Essential Functions include:
  • Manage and direct brand, marketing, and communications teams and goals; success metric development, training and development, mentoring, hiring, performance management.
  • Proactively assess and develop plans to respond to market trends; leverage data insights to provide innovative and creative solutions, test and learn experimentation with new campaigns, platforms, tools or techniques.
  • Collaborate with the organization to magnify the brand across all touchpoints.
  • Establish departmental operational processes and policies that are compliant, efficient, while clarifying roles, responsibilities, handoffs, and remove constraints to improve speed to market.
  • Oversee and manage department resources and budget; optimize efficiency, effectiveness, and sufficiency of department spend/investments. Prepare and communicate regular reporting with key stakeholders.
  • Participate in developing overall strategic marketing plan to ensure and drive member acquisition and retention to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
  • Oversee market and consumer research strategy and approach to ensure actionable insights drive plans and strategies for growth, campaigns, consumer and business needs, and product & segment strategy teams.
  • Ensure compliance for data privacy, company and industry regulations that pertain to marketing.
  • Oversee strategic agency & vendor relationships and performance; establish and maintain strong working relationships with key vendors, outside services, professional organizations, and trade organizations in support of Elevations Credit Union.
  • Provide strategic guidance for the digital channels to include website, SMS, digital banking, email automation, AI driven marketing technology, etc.
  • Ensure optimal proactive earned media through public relations and communications strategy.
  • Oversee and direct the development of integrated advertising/promotion, marketing content, campaigns, collateral materials, member educational programming, social media, digital marketing, public relations and communications, etc. aligned with product and organizational priorities.
  • Plan, develop, implement, and monitor overall brand, marketing, and communication plans and strategies to deliver business results, impact, and profitable member growth.
  • Oversee the development and activation of multi-cultural segment acquisition and retention strategies.
  • Coordinates representation of departmental projects, including communication to appropriate stakeholders.

Required Education and Experience:
  • Demonstrable experience growing multi-cultural segments
  • Data driven being keenly attuned to the metrics driving departmental ROI and course-correcting based on impactful data.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize many marketing and communications needs concurrently, perform effectively in a fast-paced environment, think strategically, and meet deadlines with quality deliverables
  • A proven track record of delivering business impact, optimization of marketing investments
  • Deep knowledge of financial services segments/product strategies, insights, analytics, business planning – in both B2B and B2C environments.
  • Ability to collaboratively navigate and lead in a matrixed organization
  • Experience in developing marketing & sales strategy using CRM software-based platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo, Pardot, etc. required
  • Excellent leadership and coaching skills
  • Minimum of 10 years of executive-level experience in financial services, marketing, and communications, with a demonstrated success driving revenue growth via comprehensive multi-channel digital marketing with lead generation experience a must.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing strategies and business plans
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with senior leadership to optimize lead funnel strategy and results.
  • 10 years managing and leading high performing teams.
  • Experience overseeing the optimization of brand, marketing, communications operations, process development, success metric development
  • Thorough understanding of financial services industry, preferable including credit union/banking products and services.
  • Proven experience developing strategies and programs for achieving and surpassing business goals, distilling strategies into concise action-items.
  • Ability to foster effective working relationships with internal and external parties
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred

Compensation:
The base pay of the budgeted range is $132,809 + annual incentive. The candidate's starting salary will be adjusted based upon his, her, or their experience.
