Vp Corporate Controller Jobs

LaSalle Network is partnering with one of the country's best known service brands to hire a VP Corporate Controller. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the VP Corporate Controller will be responsible for managing a comprehensive financial analysis on a weekly and monthly basis. They will ensure effective internal controls over financial reporting and have primary responsibility for management of the organizations accounting function.
VP Corporate Controller Responsibilities

• Maintain efficient running of financial operations: AP, AR, payroll and deliver improvements in operational KPIs
• Work closely with FP&A on budget development and monthly forecasting
• Develop talent in the financial reporting and control team to deliver performance and results, including the identification, development and retention of talent with requisite corporate finance and controller capabilities as well as providing leadership and overseeing performance management and team development activities
• Provide high quality, concise commentary on company performance in line with shareholder expectations with the ability to “tell the story” and support it with appropriate data
• Hold self and others accountable for meeting commitments by setting and clearly communicating expectations and roles and responsibilities relative to corporate control
• Accountable for adherence to global finance processes and controls within country, ensuring the global financial controls framework is implemented
• Provide insights into historical performance to business managers, cost center owners and finance business partners
• Work closely with the Global Risk and Compliance team and oversee implementation of the corporate control strategy in line with group requirements, while ensuring the highest standards of corporate financial control

VP Corporate Controller Requirements

• Ability to drive significant, positive impact across a large-scale operating company and large team
• 10+ years of people leadership experience in building, managing and/or developing high performing teams is required
• Experience with outsource provider; Business Process outsourcing (BPO)
• 15+ years of related experience with time in the top finance/controller role with a proven track record leading comparable operations required
• 8+ years of relevant experience in a public company environment is required
• Experience with a growth organization focused on culture and engagement preferred
• Sarbanes Oxley reporting experience
• Demonstrated ability to drive significant, positive impact across a large-scale operating company
• Executive presence when communicating to global leaders and building decks for multiple audiences
• CPA license preferred
• Industry certification such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification is preferred
• Public company experience
• Bachelor’s degree in business management, finance/accounting or related field
