Our client, a rapid growth multi-state healthcare provider group based in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a new VP, Controller to join their team. This position will report directly to the CFO and will manage the entirety of the company’s accounting function and team of accounting professionals. The VP, Controller will be responsible for providing strategic guidance to the leadership team and will play a key role in establishing processes and systems and developing the personnel to help the company achieve its aggressive growth plans.

VP, Controller Responsibilities:

• Review journal entries for appropriate accounting treatment and documentation
• Create and maintain processes for compliance with corporate accounting policies
• Identify and address issues impacting accounting close and consolidation process
• Lead the company's full accounting function, including timely monthly close and robust financial reporting broken down by practice, location, and segment

VP, Controller Requirements:

• MBA strongly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in managing full cycle accounting for a company, including 7+ years people management
• CPA required
