Position Overview


The Business Operations VP will support Entrust Digital Security Solutions business for business planning, operational readiness, business transformation, and analysis. The successful candidate will employ superior consultative and relationship building skill together with business analysis and acumen to help prioritize and mobilize operations work for the Digital Security business work cross-functionally across the organization.


Responsibilities


  • Identify opportunities for economies of scale, creating standardization across process and assets that help colleagues within the Digital Security organization scale their impact.
  • Stakeholder management and alignment on strategic priority projects
  • Act as escalation point for issues and provide leadership and guidance to team
  • Support coordination of annual strategic planning process with senior management, including goal setting and prioritization, quarterly business reviews (QBR) and monthly operational reviews.
  • Business case development for new initiatives or process improvements
  • Develop and leverage strong business relationships with leaders resulting in identification of continuous improvement opportunities
  • Develop and manage analytics reporting and forecasting dashboards and templates for the Digital Security business, including business review cadence.
  • Lead team of business operations analysts, performing general management responsibilities such as hiring, performance management, performance reviews, individual development activities, etc.
  • Compile, analyze and report data to explain business results and forecast market trends, and surface insights to accelerate decision making.
  • Partner with Sales Operations on revenue planning and forecasting.
  • Provide necessary work direction and manage projects effectively through planning, organization and project management
  • Monitor team performance against department standards, and ensure that these standards are consistently met or exceeded
  • May provide guidance and/or support to product management, pricing or sales/customer experience operations on technical and cross functional resources and process dependencies as related to business issues and customer impacts
  • Provide cross-discipline thought leadership and share knowledge of Transformational Change Management, Business Process Improvement and/or Organizational Alignment
  • Partner with Entrust IT on recommendations for cross functional standardization and data management.


Basic Qualifications


  • Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to handle changing priorities in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Bachelor’s degree with focus on business administration, strategy, economics or other relevant field.
  • Experience in operational roles in a high-tech, fast-paced organization
  • Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US
  • Minimum 3 years experience managing people
  • Ability to understand businesses and teams holistically and manage complex, cross-functional projects through to successful outcomes
  • Exhibit strong executive presence – verbal, written and presentation communication skills
  • 10 years experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, business strategy, M&A roles with increasing responsibility.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Master’s in Business Administration
