Virtual Event Host And Production Specialist (Remote)

Visit.org is looking for a passionate and ambitious Virtual Event Host and Production Specialist to join our remote team. The Virtual Event Host and Production Specialist will facilitate group events and help to produce quality events. Role & Responsibilities

• Welcome, engage, and inspire participants while supporting nonprofits in facilitating online events
• Be the host for a variety of fun, engaging, high-quality virtual volunteering, team building, and wellness activities for Visit.org’s corporate partners over Zoom
• Coordinate all admin tasks as Zoom Host during the event to ensure a smooth experience for participants: ie. overseeing the waiting room, putting teams in breakout rooms for varying times, sending links in the chat, taking screenshots, generally being a great side-kick to the nonprofit representative leading the event
• Leadership to coordinate team efforts
• Creativity to ensure innovative productions
• Provide feedback for post-event audits and continually improve experiences
• Consulting on training materials and training new hosts
• Time-management to ensure products meet deadlines
• Communication skills for coordinating between different departments and personnel
• Creating all collateral and materials for upcoming experiences for event hosts

Qualifications

• Flexible availability
• Quick thinker—sometimes during events things go wrong; you can problem-solve on the fly
• Based in the United States
• Extremely comfortable with and enjoys public speaking
• 3 to 5 years experience in hosting corporate events which engaged and interacted with a virtual audience
• Tech-savvy and comfortable with virtual platforms such as Zoom, Webex, MS Teams
• Experience with group facilitation, moderating, and managing group dynamics
• Reliable high-speed internet and a computer with a webcam are required
• Excellent customer service and presentation skills
• High energy and a positive attitude

Salary range $65,000 to $80,000 DOE, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A range of benefits may include equity, healthcare benefits, and paid time off may be provided as part of the compensation package.
