Job Description

SBT is the exclusive executive recruiting firm for this confidential position.


This confidential company is strategically bringing in a VP of Ops to define and drive the organizations execution of business operations and technology. They foster a startup-like environment, requiring a VP that is able to remain hands-on and technical while also displaying an executive presence to lead high-level meetings.


Role

  • Manage key processes directly correlated to system-level product introduction (NPI) and silicon
  • Develop negotiation strategies to expand agreements and partnerships that best align with short-term and long-term business objectives
  • Guide internal and external company pipelines (manufacturing supply chain, marketplace partners, and direct customers)
  • Support and enable to the production of high-volume hardware products
  • Define and take ownership of vendor agreements as it relates to market product cost models
  • Contribute to the company’s roadmap and build the operations management team
  • Lead aspects of manufacturing ops and chip development (foundry, assembly, testing, etc.)


Qualifications

  • Must have experience with silicon and/or hardware products, preferably in a influential leadership position
  • 10-15+ years of related experience
  • Relevant industry technical abilities in chip design, operations, and manufacturing
  • BSEE/MSEE (or relevant engineering degree) + MBA is a bonus
