Job Description

Job Title: Vice President of Training


Summary:


Do you have a background in law enforcement or intelligence? Are you looking to leverage your expertise to foster growth and make an impact in a new arena? We are looking for a seasoned professional to join us as the Vice President of Training. In this role, you will oversee our existing certification and training programs, devise innovative new offerings, and ensure our curricula meet and exceed accreditation standards. Your knowledge of the intelligence and investigative market space, along with your network of industry contacts, will be instrumental in driving growth for our training portfolio.


Key Responsibilities:


Training Development and Certification:


- Develop a comprehensive curriculum strategy for the entire suite of certification and training programs, incorporating self-study materials, virtual labs, instructor-led courses, mentoring, assessments, certification preparation, and other learning modalities.

- Ensure our programs meet and exceed accreditation standards, including applying for new accreditations as needed.

- Teach certification programs online and in-person, and develop new courses each week.

- Identify gaps in training offerings and collaborate with content teams to develop solutions through internal development, partnerships, or content acquisition.

- Implement product strategies that set our certification and training offerings apart in the market.

- Predict future market trends and user consumption patterns to keep our product offerings relevant and competitive.


Sales & Marketing:


- Collaborate with the product marketing team to develop programs that enhance product awareness and demand.

- Convey the value proposition of our training portfolio to field sales teams and assist in developing sales tools and resources.

- Oversee the cross-functional implementation of new product launches and releases.


Business Development:


- Lead business development efforts with current and potential content and technology partners to maintain the relevance and competitiveness of our product.

- Build relationships with law enforcement, intelligence, and investigation communities to grow our user base and promote our products.

- Engage with leading intelligence and investigation practitioners to gain insights for product strategy and roadmap.


Ideal Candidate Profile:


- You are a dynamic leader with a passion for developing courses and teaching others about the intelligence and investigative sectors.

- You have a track record of creating long-range strategic plans and performance metrics.

- You are comfortable preparing departmental budgets, meeting revenue/expense goals, and providing budget analysis.

- You thrive in fast-paced environments, embrace collaboration, and value people as an organization's most valuable resource.


Requirements:


- Masters’ degree in criminal justice, business administration, public health, human services, social work, or other related fields of study. Ph.D. preferred.

- 10-15 years of progressive experience in the public or private sector with excellent teaching and course development skills.

- Prior professional experience in the intelligence and investigative sectors teaching programs on intel, investigations, cyber, counterintelligence, etc. preferred.


Work Considerations:


This full-time, exempt position is based in Chesterfield, MO. A 48-hour work week is required (8:30-6 PM) with some on-call work nights and weekends as dictated by company needs.


Compensation and Benefits:


We offer a competitive salary ($80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year), with bonuses, 401(k) matching, disability insurance, employee paid health insurance, life insurance, paid time off, and professional development assistance.
