Vice President of Infrastructure Services

Optomi, in partnership with one of our premiere clients, is seeking a Vice President of Infrastructure Services to join their team in their Atlanta, GA location. In this role, the Vice President of Infrastructure Services will develop and execute a comprehensive infrastructure strategy that aligns with the organization's overall business objectives and technology roadmap. This person will also lead the planning, design, and implementation of infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet requirements for security, reliability, performance, and cost-efficiency.

Qualifications of the Right Candidate:

• Experience with ITIL, ISO, or other IT service management frameworks.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong understanding of current and emerging infrastructure technologies, best practices, and industry trends.
• 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
• Demonstrated success in planning, designing, and implementing complex infrastructure projects, including data centers, networks, servers, storage, and cloud services.
• Proven experience managing budgets and driving cost optimization initiatives.
• Excellent leadership, team building, and interpersonal skills, with a track record of developing and leading high-performing teams.

Responsibilities of the Right Candidate:

• Develop and maintain infrastructure-related policies, procedures, and standards to ensure consistent and effective management across the organization.
• Mentor, develop, and lead a high-performing infrastructure services team, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovation.
• Collaborate with other IT leaders to drive the adoption of emerging technologies and best practices, while maintaining a focus on operational excellence.
• Oversee the management of data centers, networks, servers, storage, and cloud services, ensuring that systems are highly available, scalable, and secure.
• Develop and manage the Infrastructure Services budget, ensuring appropriate allocation of resources and cost optimization.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and partners to ensure the timely delivery of products and services.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices related to infrastructure management and security.
