WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT


  • Develop and prepare short-term and long-term development plans, forecasting initiatives, P&L statistics, and budgets based upon corporate goals and objectives.
  • Understands, manages, and enforces the project plans and specifications.
  • Track and react to job specific productivity daily.
  • Assists Project Managers and Supervisors in the supervision and responsibility of the total underground construction effort in accordance with design, budget, quality, and schedule.
  • Assist the estimating team on pricing all underground utility projects.
  • Leadership of production teams committed to increasing safety, quality, and profitability of work performed.
  • Oversees underground construction schedule, identifies and solves problems.
  • Directs Project Managers, Supervisors and Foremen to achieve completion of the projects on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications.
  • Track and manage actual vs. budget for labor, equipment, and materials for job costing and controllables.
  • Maintain positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and other employees.


THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Construction, Engineering, or relevant expierence
  • 10+ years of experience in HDD operations
  • Highly organized with attention to detail required.
  • Construction or related industry highly preferred
  • Ability to work and thrive in a growing department and be apart of a changing environment
  • Displays strong written and oral communication skills and employs effective listening skills.
