Vice President Of Compliance

Team One is seeking a Vice President of Compliance. This full-time position directs the daily operations of the Compliance Department and has the primary responsibility of providing guidance for company-wide regulatory adherence. A hybrid-remote work schedule will be available after completion of the mandatory on-site training period. Onsite reporting will be based out of the Saginaw area. Periodic travel to branches will be expected.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to) are as follows:

• Oversee internal audits to ensure quality control in areas of BSA/OFAC
• Write and maintain compliance policies & procedures including company Business Continuity Plan
• Review member-facing documents, advertising, and marketing materials (including website) for ongoing compliance
• Active participation in company projects to ensure relevant compliance requirements are satisfied
• Effectively manage record retention requirements for all areas of compliance
• Oversee the Credit Union’s vendor management program including initial set-up and ongoing vendor relationship reviews.
• Serve as lead facilitator and company contact for auditors and examiners
• Present information to Executive management, employees, and Board of Directors regarding existing/future impact of regulatory compliance on company policy/procedure
• Suggest new policies/changes to existing policies so that company maintains regulatory requirements
• Provide audit & exam findings to Executive Management

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree OR higher (or) the equivalent of formal certifications related to financial institution compliance in lieu of a degree
• Minimum of five (5) years of Supervisory experience
• Minimum of five to eight years in a similar compliance related role within a financial institution

Pay: $95,180.89 - $213,837.84 per year
