Title: Vice President of Clinical Operations - Dermatology

Location: Remote (US or CAN), with HQ in Quebec, Canada

Compass Life Sciences have partnered with a mid-sized Contract Research Organization (CRO) committed to developing groundbreaking therapies for individuals suffering from dermatological conditions. As the Vice President Clinical Operations, you will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and drive the development and implementation of clinical operation strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a strategic plan for Clinical Operations, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and driving initiatives accordingly.
• Lead and coordinate the Clinical Operations team, providing guidance, support, and effective resolution of project-related challenges.
• Facilitate effective communication within the Clinical Operations department, aligning it with the vision of the Executive Committee.
• Oversee day-to-day activities of the Clinical Operations department, ensuring the fulfilment of departmental goals and sponsor requirements.
• Identify and address quality issues through comprehensive reviews, proactive meetings, audits, and efficient escalation.

Requirements:

• Extensive industry experience in Clinical Operations, with a track record of successfully overseeing departmental activities and meeting sponsor needs.
• Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans for Clinical Operations, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, enabling effective identification and resolution of quality issues through comprehensive reviews and proactive measures.
• Strong leadership skills with the capacity to manage and coordinate a high-performing Clinical Operations team, ensuring milestone achievement.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and alignment within the Clinical Operations department and Executive Committee.

The expected salary range for this role is $200,000 - $300,000, depending on skills, competency, and the market demand for your expertise.
