Sentara Health Plans is currently hiring a Value Based Care (VBC) Manager!


This is a Full Time position with day shift hours and great benefits!

Job Requirements:


  • Required: Healthcare - 5 years
  • 3+ years of value-based program design and methodology development
  • Experience designing and operating multiple VBC arrangement types (bundles, capitation, shared savings/risk) preferred
  • Experience from the payor and provider side preferred, one required.
  • No direct reports; This is an individual contributor role
  • Required: Bachelor's Level Degree
  • Travel to Virginia approx 2x a year/only as needed


Job Responsibilities:


  • Value Based Care Manage works closely with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure model design aligns with strategic vision and health plan objectives. At the direction of the Director, Value Based Care, develops, implements, and deploys Value Based Care (VBC) models across all lines of business. Value Based Care Manage provides input and feedback as requested to the VBC Provider Enablement and VBC Analytics teams to continue to evolve the overall VBC portfolio.
  • The Value Based Care Manager reports to the Director, Value Based Care. Responsible for the development and growth of Value Based Care models including but not limited to bundled payment models, pay for performance, shared risk, and full risk models.

For applicants within Washington State, the following hiring range will be applied: $91,313.04 to $126,016.80/annually.
