As a Vacation Planner, it is your responsibility is to assist clients in planning and organizing their dream vacations. You will work closely with individuals, families, or groups to understand their preferences, budget constraints, and desired destinations, and create customized travel itineraries that meet their needs. This role requires a strong knowledge of various travel destinations, accommodations, transportation options, and popular tourist attractions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice and recommendations on travel itineraries, including transportation, accommodation, sightseeing, and dining options.
- Prepare detailed travel plans, including daily schedules, maps, and relevant travel documents for clients.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong relationships with clients before, during, and after their vacation.
- Stay updated with the latest travel trends, discounts, and promotions to provide clients with the best value for their money.
- Assist clients with visa applications, travel insurance, and other necessary paperwork.
- Consult with clients to determine their vacation preferences, including destination, duration, budget, and activities of interest.
- Address any concerns or issues that may arise during the planning or execution of the vacation.
- Research and gather information on travel destinations, including popular attractions, local customs, weather conditions, visa requirements, and travel advisories.
Requirements:
- Availability to work flexible hours according to clients needs including weekends, evenings, holidays
- A passion for travel and a willingness to stay updated with the latest travel trends and industry developments.
- Must be 18+ and reside in the US
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple clients and itineraries simultaneously.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in travel arrangements and documentation.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and effectively understand their needs.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise during the planning or execution of vacations.
