Job Description

Position: UX/UI Designer

Location: North Chicago, IL, 60064

Duration: 11 Months

Job Type: Contract

Work Type: Hybrid (Onsite Lake County, IL 3 days a week, must be willing and able to be onsite at least 3 days a week )

Top Must-Have Skills:

  • Business communication skills, able to be a liaison between tech teams and End Users
  • Front End Development HTML preferred or relevant tools
  • Design tool experience- Figma/Adobe preferred but open to similar tools

Nice to Have Skills:

  • PowerPoint- creating strategic decks, training decks for system rollouts, and decks to keep all teams aligned

Description Details

  • Plan and design data analytics web pages and apps using wireframes, prototypes, and design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator) to create blueprints for what the solution will look like.
  • Use front-end programming languages (HTML, CSS) to create/clean up layouts, interactive features, or execute other design ideas.
  • 1-3+ years of professional experience

Collaborate with UX and data teams:

  • BA in a Design-related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Proven experience designing/developing business concepts, personas, user journeys, storyboards, user flows, wireframes, or prototypes
  • Exceptional communication skills and presentation skills
  • Bridge requirements between design and development teams. conduct user testing, A/B testing, and other forms of research in collaboration with the UX team as needed.
  • Excellent people skills to collaborate with colleagues and cross-functional teams
  • Portfolio showcasing relevant work
