Job Title - Project Engineering Support - Electrical and Control Systems

Location - Greensboro North Carolina

& Skill Requirement

PLC Programming with an emphasis on generating code that is organized, structured, documented, maintainable and reusable. Knowledge of Studio 5000, RSLogix 5000, RSLogix 500, RSLogix 5.

SCADA HMI Programming to generate HMI screens for complex process control applications while providing sufficient feedback for troubleshooting. Knowledge of, FactoryTalk View Machine Edition and Site Edition.

Design Control System Architecture (CSA) diagrams

Design control study / URD (User Required Document) for the PLC & HMI programming

Design electrical & control panel layout, control schematic drawings and Bill of Material (BOM)

Design and perform safety validation, safety maps, IQ/OQ, LOTO Documents for new equipment installation at site

Perform FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) at client site and VAT (Vendor Acceptance Test) at Vendor Location for new electrical & control panels

Provide support for installation, commissioning, start-up and troubleshooting for machines & skids at site

Perform Multi-discipline and vendor co-ordination

Review vendor & engineering documents as per project requirements.

Prepare feasibility study design basis document and detail engineering technical documents- Cable schedule, Device List/ Tag List for new equipment / machine

Design & review technical documents like engineering information for fabricator / contractor for activities to be performed in sequence at site

Deliver complex, large-scale projects on time and within the budget in compliance with NEC, NFPA79, OSHA, S88 and PackML Standards

Suggesting ideas on Production Improvements & Cost reduction without quality compromises.

Shall be responsible for installing, wiring the instruments/Control modules, field devices and commissioning of minor production improvement systems.

Shall be flexible to come in to attend the troubleshooting.

Shall be flexible to work on any shift.

Shall be flexible to work on weekend-based on the requirement.

• BE (Electrical, Instrumentation and control)

Skill Key Words

PLC & HMI Programming:

• Electrical instrument and device configuration, I/O checks power and controls design
• Rockwell Software RSLogix 5, 500, Studio5000 & RSLogix5000, programming and trouble shootinh

Comunication Networks Ethernet, RIO, DH+, ControlNet & DeviceNet.

Machine safety requirements and implementation (safety relays and circuits), including knowledge of NFPA79.

IQ/OQ and validations and troubleshooting
