Job Description
Join Urgent Care as a full time Registered Nurse!
Responsibilities include
  • Need strong interpersonal skills to receive and make phone calls to other departments, patients and peers.
  • Using assessment skills to triage patients according to protocol
  • Work the RN in-basket for provider in-basket results, patient MyChart messages, RN call pool, routing results, referrals.
  • Ability to perform clinical skills such as IV, urinary catheters, ear lavage, EKG, sterile set up, injections, immunizations, point-of-care testing, swabbing, phlebotomy.
  • Critical thinking skills to use resources and follow protocols and policies and strong time management skills to prioritize workflow.
  • Must work independently and as a team member and be able to wear a mask all day, including an N95 in cases where protocol directs.
Full time, float: requires flexibility to work at a variety of locations and varying shifts that include evening hours and a minimum of two weekends per month. Training schedule includes first two weeks of Monday through Friday, 8:00a-5:00p. Transition to float schedule after successful completion of training. Pay range start at $42.25/hr. higher depending on experience. Evening ($2.00) and Saturday/Sunday ($2.50) differentials available!
Required qualifications
  • Current, unencumbered Washington RN license.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) for Health Care Provider certification at time of hire.
  • Work independently while functioning as a team member.
  • Organize and prioritize workflow.
  • Must have reliable and predictable attendance.
Pay Range:
$38.67 - $58.01

Benefits-eligible employees accrue PTO and Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked, totaling 120 hours in the first year for full time staff and 200 hours in the first year for full time supervisors and above, increasing in subsequent years. PTO and Personal Time accruals are pro-rated by FTE/hours worked. Non-benefits eligible employees will accrue Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked.
