Role Summary


The Real Estate Americas business is seeking to hire an analyst for its New York-based investment team covering the Southeast markets. The investment team covers office, retail, multifamily and industrial investments valued at approximately $14 billion. Analysts on the investment team play an integral role in working alongside our asset managers in overseeing a portfolio of assets and driving value to our clients. Individuals in this role are involved in the oversight and strategy implementation within the existing portfolio, the handling of dispositions, working through internal and external property valuations and completing various internal and external reports.


Job Responsibilities


  • Prepare presentations and written investment committee memos
  • Research and analyze market data
  • Underwrite using Argus and Excel
  • Perform due diligence to prepare acquisitions for closing
  • Create and utilize financial models for investment valuation
  • Participate in property inspections and market tours


Required Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills


  • Up to one year of work experience in real estate following completion of undergraduate program
  • BA/BS Degree from an accredited university
  • Strong presentation skills
  • One year of real estate financial analysis, modeling experience
  • Superior writing and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional quantitative modeling and analytical skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
