Job Description
Description:

Our OB/GYN office is seeking a part-time Ultrasound Technician located in Knoxville, TN.

Perform perinatal ultrasounds including fetal anatomical surveys, assess fetal well-being, doppler studies and first trimester screens.

  • May also assist physicians with procedures such as amniocentesis
  • Monitors, records and communicates as appropriate utilizing Phoenix system
  • May also assist physicians with procedures such as amniocentesis.
  • Maintains and calibrates equipment.
  • Produces diagnostic images for abdominal and pelvic ultrasounds on pregnant patients
  • Perform portable exams
  • Explains procedures to patients and addresses their concerns.
  • Transports patients to and from in patient settings
Requirements:
  • ROMS registered/eligible
  • Graduate of accredited Ultrasound Program
  • OB experience
