The UX/UI Designer plays a critical role in defining the delivery of value to clients. They act as a bridge between project stakeholders to capture what matters and ensures that user experience is considered and planned for from the beginning of a project engagement.


What You'll Need:


  • Experience with design platforms such as Axure, Figma, Sketch, InVision
  • Minimum Experience required: 3-5 years in a similar role
  • Information Architecture (Site Maps)
  • Web-based consumer analyses (Usertesting.com, UsabilityHub, etc.) 
  • Preferred Experience:
  • Creative design
  • Google Analytics
  • Must-have Experience:
  • CRO
  • Expertise in user-centered design and usability best practices.
  • Online portfolio of work demonstrating competency in these essential functions is required
  • Wireframing
  • SEO understanding 
  • Basic HTML, CSS, and Javascript understanding 
  • Content Strategy
  • ECommerce
  • Experience:
  • Marketing agency experience
  • Minimum Education (or substitute experience) required: B.A. or B.S. in design, or relevant experience


What You'll Do:


  • Organizes and manages user experience requirements within requirements management platforms to ensure ability to program, test, and launch projects that will meet client business goals and align with user experience wireframes and design comps.
  • Evolves RDI's UX discipline; develops process documentation for internal distribution and communication.
  • Applies the principles and methodologies in the key areas of user experience: human psychology, information architecture, user research, and interaction design.
  • Stays current on user experience trends and on the tools that Red Door uses. Proactively evaluates new opportunities, shares learnings, and develops internal trainings to help move UX forward. 
  • Collaborates with and balances the needs of the user, client, creative designers, developers, and SEO to ensure the user experience is optimized for all channels.
  • Discovers user goals and project requirements and designs solutions that support the user goals and project requirements.
  • Participates in new business process as needed, including UX assessments. 


This is the hiring range for the role based out of our San Diego HQ. This range may differ based on your geographic location, cost of living considerations, and individual experience and skill set.


Hiring Range


$75,000—$85,000 USD
