Salary Range: $23.80 - $29.75 per hour
The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
Position Summary
LOCATION: Grounds
SCHEDULE: Tuesday- Friday 2:00pm-10:30pm & Saturday 6:00am- 2:30pm
Performs as required by job order, supervisor's direction, all driving and related tasks.
Responsibilities
Operates all motored vehicles in safe and efficient manner.
Follows proper departmental procedures for start-up, use and storage of all equipment.
Must be proficient in the productive method of equipment operation; including power sweeping, plowing, snow blowing, tractor and loader operations. Performs all related duties as required or as assigned.
Assists Truck Driver B in assigned duties.
Candidates must be available for snow removal on a 7 day per week, 24 hour per day basis.
Employee must maintain a home telephone contact for snow.
Must be fit to work outdoors in all weather and be able to perform manual labor, lifting and climbing assignments.
Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or its equivalent.
Ability to read and follow directions and road maps is required.
Ability to communicate in English.
Valid driver's license required.
