Expanding wholesale company seeking experienced reliable truck drivers. Commercial Driver License preferred.
Summary Description
· Deliver shipments safely and punctually to the destination while following all rules and regulations that come with being a truck driver and upholding the responsibilities of the job.
Responsibilities
* Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle ensuring functionality of brake lights, proper tire pressure, proper fluid levels, and checking many other parts.
* Accurately, promptly, and safely deliver customer orders; collect payment if required.
* Keep logs of trip, pick-up and delivery paper records of the shipments.
* Follow all rules and regulations of the road and maintain a defensive driving mindset.
Qualifications
· Valid Drivers license.
· Valid medical certificate and clean driving record.
· Pass a drug and alcohol test.
· Familiar with truck routes
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Day range:
Monday to Friday
