Job Summary:

The Haul Truck Driver will be operating a 70-ton loaded off-road dump truck. This position will be moving shot rock from the quarry floor to the primary crusher. The responsibilities include a pre-trip inspection, greasing equipment, fueling, and operating safety and responsibly.

Essential Functions:

• Efficiency. Employee must ensure that the vehicle is in proper and safe condition prior to use and accept responsibility to report any damage or mechanical malfunctions that exist.
• Safety. Operate vehicles and equipment safely and responsibly, as assigned.

Requirements, Education and Experience:

• 1 year experience, preferred
• Proficient verbal and written English
• Legal right to work in the U.S.

Travel: This position does not require travel.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

Heavy work that includes moving objects up to 50 lb. or more. This position works on or near moving mechanical parts and loud equipment. Requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time as well as lifting, pulling, bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, walking, reaching, driving, and repetitive motion. On occasion the job will require going out in the field and various plants and quarries.
