Position Summary:
The Triage RN is responsible for providing safe and effective telehealth nursing triage, improved outcomes to care, integration of community and system resources and information, determining the appropriate level of care, patient transfer facilitation, and enhancing access to high quality care as assigned by the Nurse Manager. The Triage RN serves as a role model and clinical resource in their practice setting and across the continuum of care to influence organizational standards related to patient safety and care delivery. The Triage RN functions in a multidisciplinary, collaborative practice environment, where critical thinking skills are used to interpret complex information and guide patients and families to health and wellbeing.

Minimum Requirements:
Three (3) years recent experience in outpatient or inpatient nursing or Three (3) years recent triage experience

Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Licensed as a R.N. in the state of Washington
Licensed as a professional nurse in the state of Idaho or hold a multistate license from a NCSBN member state.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, or obtained within three years from the initial date of hire
Advanced Degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred
CPR certification required
